Simplicity is what Relocators is all about

Have you heard of KISS? Not the band, but the acronym for “Keep it simple, stupid,” which was used in 1960 as a design principle by the U.S. Navy.

The KISS principle says that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated.

It’s also how I run my business. I believe the simpler I make things, the more trustworthy and effective I am with my employees and, most importantly, with my customers. Great communication is most effective when it’s a two-way street.

Let’s face it, the physical act of moving is not enjoyable, but Relocators has reconfigured the process with a step-by-step plan that keeps our client’s stress levels to a minimum. We share the burden.

One of my favorite moments at the initial consultation is seeing the light bulb go off when I do an estimate for one thing, such as packing, and the client realizes we are the answer to two or three of their immediate needs – like storage or an estate sale. You can actually see the stress fall off their shoulders. It’s such a good feeling.

My team and I become their strong support system as we help clients with the very personal job of helping them move. Every treasure has a story, and we’ve heard quite a few.
