New Decluttering Technique?

“Death cleaning” only sounds looks good on paper

Have you heard of the relatively called Swedish Death Cleaning? If not, let me explain.

It’s the idea that when people die they leave tons of stuff behind that family and friends have to figure out how to dispose of it all.

Margareta Magnussen, author of the morbid-sounding “The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning,” says it’s about slowly decluttering as your years roll by. Magnussen’s motto: “If you don’t love it, lose it. If you don’t use it, lose it.”

Successful decluttering now will ease the burden on loved ones when you pass away, or so Magnussen says.

If you ask me, the premise is awesome, but in theory only. In addition to laziness, there will be huge difficulties weeding through your parent’s belongings with them.

It’s one thing to hire someone to write a will on paper. It is a totally different thing to actually get your hands dirty and go through your parent’s lifetime and your childhood while they are still living with the realization that time is on a downward track. It is too strong of a signal of change, and people don’t like change. Once a loved one passes away, the burden is forced both emotionally and financially.

This is why I am so confident in Relocators franchise system. By building an all-in-one franchise system I believe I can empower new franchise owners to help people in communities throughout the country. At the same time, I will be carving a major niche in an ancient industry by applying a unique one-stop system that was unheard of in the past.

If you’re interested in starting a franchise of your own, give us a call. What are you waiting for?
